Lizzy is approximately 20+ yr QH and is has a very sweet soul. She will do anything asked of her and has good ground manners. She is said to be well broke but not ridden in years.

Lizzy, Missy and Spike came to us out of the love of their owners heart. Due to the death of her spouse she ran out of funds to take care of them. With no funds to buy hay or feed she was in somewhat of a panic and had considered having them euthanized to keep them from suffering hunger. Thanks to a friend she found out about Indiana Horse Rescue and knew there was hope for these horses that she loves so dearly. When we picked the horses up they were confused because they knew this as home and couldn't understand why Mom was putting them in a trailer. I stood there in tears myself " knowing it was breaking her heart to let them go". As she said her goodbyes, gave hugs and cried, I made her this promise. I promise that your babies will be watched over, cared for and loved for the rest of their lives.
